Who you are dealing with

EmpireSheets, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

What you are buying

A licence to use a digital product, not ownership of it. What that licence allows is set out on the licence page, and it is deliberately generous for personal use.

Delivery

Products are delivered immediately after payment: on the confirmation page, by email, and in your library. If delivery fails, that is our problem to fix. See the refund policy.

Prices

Prices are in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise, and are calculated on our servers at the moment of purchase, from the catalogue rather than from anything your browser sends. A sale price is the price until the product page stops showing it. We do not run countdowns that reset, and we do not show a crossed out price that was never charged.

What the products are not

Educational and planning tools. Nothing sold here is financial, legal, tax, immigration or medical advice, and EmpireSheets is not a regulated adviser in any of those fields. Products touching regulated subjects carry a dated edition label, because the underlying rules change. Verify anything time sensitive against a current official source before acting on it.

What we promise, and what we do not

We promise the files work, match their description, and keep working. We cannot promise a particular result, because that depends on what you do with them.

Accounts

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your login details to yourself: anyone with them can download everything you have bought.

Changes

These terms may change, and this page carries the date it last did. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published on the day you bought. We do not yet keep earlier versions on the site, so if that matters to you, save this page at the time. Saying we keep an archive when we do not would be the sort of thing this page exists to avoid.
